A delicious healthy treat for your sweet tooth!!
1 medium banana
16 slices of banana
8 toasted almonds ( I didn’t toast mine)
1/4 cup of melted chocolate ( I used Ghirardelli 60% Cacao..my favorite chocolate) I have been trying to find carob chips to use instead..might need to go to whole foods and get some..I cannot find in my local grocery stores…tutti frutti has them and I put in my occasional fro yo!! Love them and healthier option than Cacao..they have unsweetened carob chips. Sammybfit used Enjoy life mini choc chips.
2 Tablespoons of your favorite nut butter (I used almond and @Sammybfit used maple-vanilla coco-nut butter…
She added 1 Tablespoon unsweetened shredded coconut ( I omitted this..not a fan of coconut
Slice the bananas
Layer with your favorite nut butter (make a nut butter sandwich with the bananas)
then drizzle the melted chocolate…place the almond and top and drizzle a bit more chocolate.
