Recipe: Chocolate Peanut Butter Black Bean Protein Donuts!!
1 egg (I used egg white only)
¾ can organic black beans
1 Tbsp. cocoa powder
1 scoop Metabolic Nutrition Chocolate Cake Protizyme (my fave)
2 Tbsp. Natural Peanut Butter
2 Tbsp. almond milk (I used unsweetened)
½ tsp. baking powder
2-3 Tbsp. natural honey or agave syrup (I used 1 1/2 Tbsp of natural honey)
Placed all ingredients in a blender until blended smooth.
Place batter in greased donut pan (I used Pam Purely Olive Spray). If you don’t have a donut pan..you can place foil balls in middle of cupcake pan..(donut pan is easiest..but this way works too) make sure and spray the foil balls with non stick spray
I did two different ways…one was just melted all natural peanut butter drizzled over the top!! so amazingly delicious!! Topped with sprinkles! I mean it is a donut..you have to have sprinkles..right?
The light colored icing: I did not measure this out..just added ingredient until it tasted amazing!! Add sprinkles!!!
Ingredients: (just mix all together in a bowl)
Fage Greek Yogurt non fat (Plain)
Metabolic Nutrition Peanut Butter Cookie Protizyme (amazing)
Pure Vanilla Extract
Optional to add to icing
