Lean (93/7) or Extra Lean Turkey Meat (99/1) ~ I used Jenni O brand 1.25lb – sometimes I mix 1/2 package lean and 1/2 package extra lean
1 egg white
1/4 cup uncooked oatmeal (you can omit this if you want..I do sometimes)
1/2 cup diced tomatoes (I used Hunts ~ Basil, Garlic, and Oregano ~ no salt added)
1/2 cup chopped red onion
Ketchup (I used Heinz ~ reduced sugar)
Optional: I added chopped raw spinach and reduced fat feta cheese too…did not measure just added some.
Seasonings ~ I used garlic powered, Mrs Dash -garlic and herb, crushed red pepper flakes, and black pepper, you can add sea salt too.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Mix everything in a bowl
I use a rectangular glass baking dish – place mix in the dish and smooth out
Add ketchup to the top and cover with foil.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
